I stand on crossroad thinking. 'Are you lost'- a man passes me by. 'I believe not'- I smile- 'I am just wondering what you do when you really want something and somebody who could give it to you says no...' First thing Monday morning, no good.
I was refused a short Office Administration course in the collage of Commerce, because it already started last week. So I missed only one lecture out of eight, but that makes no difference, the lady in a collage insists. 'What is happening to Ireland?'- I mourn to Madam. 'We are becoming Europeans'- she mourns with me. So I guess I will have to make it without it somehow. After a month here I managed to make up my mind- I am going to go for a Front Desk Administration role for a start. With not much experience at hands for today, I believe that my natural grace, boosted confidence and playful persistence will help me all the way. Still hoping that something more interesting than that will come along in a mean time though :)
I drink last shots of the Full Moon while walking on the other side of town and wrap it up in silver lining this gorgeous fantasy of mine, goodbye for now. I drop the coin... Will I win and if, then how? I track each line when tickling my brain on the left side...
An hour later that day I get to work few volunteering hours in the Oxfam book shop, what a pleasant surprise!
'You have achieved a key point position for what is your intent that I can see so far. The girl has started to conquer Cork'- comments on my news the same guy that I have met few times by now. I giggle thinking that he gets to know me a little better, I trust. So maybe I am not that different from who I am and what I write, hehe, next time I'll ask.
'Hey, don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something. Not even me, all right? You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they want to tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it!' (The Pursuit of Happiness' 2006)
'Remember, vision without action is just a day dream; vision must be combined with venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps, you must step up the stairs.' (www.thehealersjournal.com)
